Bringing Small Businesses Together

About

After outgrowing our initial venue before the first show, we had our first show with 75 vendors and a few thousand shoppers. We have since grown to almost 300 vendors and 10k shoppers on average. Our mission is to bring together vendors and their customers in a way that unites us all in striving to uplift our small business community.

We are in this business because there is nothing more important to us than supporting small businesses.

Welcome, friend! Southern Charm at the Farm was started because we saw a problem that needed a solution. So many of our wonderful friends and small business owners did not have a platform successful enough to reach a wide audience. In 2015, vendors were seeing limited success with online sales, and there was not an avenue for them to successfully reach a broader audience than their immediate community, family and close friends.

Our History

a brief history of the little idea that turned into a small business movement

The Boss Ladies

the ladies behind scatf

The women behind Southern Charm at the Farm are transplants from the same area of Northeast Ohio. Allison Dahl, the owner of SCATF met Lindsey Knoedler on the school bus on their very first day of kindergarten, in their little one-light town called Damascus. Outspoken Allison had no idea that the shy little girl she had just befriended would turn out be her life long bestie, and eventually become her business partner. In sixth grade Allison moved to a new town 15 minutes down the road and started at a new middle school where she met Catherine Povec. Allison sat behind Catherine in reading class, and the rest is history.

When best friends put their minds to something you can bet it will not only succeed, but will grow to the best possible version of itself - and that is our hope for Southern Charm at the Farm.
